Eliassen Group is Hiring a Senior Software Engineering Manager Near Baltimore, MD
Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Salary: $175,000 - $190,000/year
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineering Manager:
- Manage a technical team to deliver projects which achieve target outcomes
- Demonstrate master hands-on capability to drive components to delivery
- Apply people management skills to coach, mentor and develop software engineers in the team
- Accountable for the quality, TCO, maintainability and security of the solutions built by the team
- Contribute to and accountable for driving the realization of specific elements of the departmental strategy
- Identify non-obvious relationships and anomalies often over-looked by others
- Balance strategic and pragmatic concerns when solving problems
- Identify, lead, and help to influence discussions with the business to help solve a business problems
- Detect and overcome issues before the broader team is aware of them
- Provide timely feedback and mentoring to individuals and teams using data to reinforce learning
- Ensure the development of direct reports
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years of progressive engineering leadership experience
- Experienced in leading large vendor platform projects in terms of team size, technical complexity and/or organizational complexity
- Software engineering experience in C#.Net and SQL Server
- Deep knowledge of products/flows within supported businesses
