Job Description
**Hybrid in Washington, DC.**Our government client is looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $52.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
Responsibilities of the Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator:
- Manage Windows OS-based computer devices through Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, registry and files system security
- Administer systems infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud
- Collaborate with other team members to perform server patching and maintenance
- Evaluate hardware and software purchases
- Manage 2000 servers across multiple field site locations
- Manage and lead systems and infrastructure projects
- Follow existing incident, problem, release, change management processes
- Support existing server infrastructure in a 24x7 on-call escalation capacity as part of a team rotation
- Provide high level technical support for Tier-3 issue escalations/tickets
- Design and implement Citrix solutions
- Manage and monitor a Citrix platform
- Troubleshoot Citrix related issues
- Remediate security vulnerabilities detected within the Citrix environment
