Eliassen Group is Hiring a Full Stack Engineer Near New York, NY
Our financial services client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $62.50/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer:
- Deliver high quality, timely, efficient and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment
- Actively contribute to evangelize engineering practices
- Work with product owner, technical leads and architect as required to influence technical improvements to the platform
- Develop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on
- Actively participate in technology discussions with business partners and other external parties
- Investigate creative practices and share them with teammates
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years of design and development experience
- Extensive experience in Angular (RXJS) / Java, SpringBoot, RESTful services / Oracle SQL & PLSQL
- Experience in breaking down high-level requirements into solutions
- Experience in leading design of enterprise solutions across the stack
- Ability to sets high standards in applying practices across the squad
- Ability to convey technical concepts with stakeholders and influence meaningful discussions with partners
- Exposure to Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
