Our utilities client is looking for a Cisco Network Operations Engineer to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Requirements of the Cisco Network Operations Engineer:

• Experience with performing Cisco IOS updates
• Proficiency in understanding and configuring networking protocols and technologies
• Proficiency in using networking tools to proactively identify and resolve network performance issues
• Ability to troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues
• Familiarity with wireless standards, wireless security protocols, and wireless network configuration and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues in a timely manner
