SUMMARY

Process orders for shipping

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Gather picked orders and parts
• Verifies quantity, and labeling of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment.
• Pack orders in appropriate shipping containers.
• Verify correct shipping labeling

Other Job Functions:

• Keeps area clean and organized in a 5S manner.
• May assists in training of other employees as required
• Assists other department to run production when need it.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES – There are no supervisor responsibilities for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
