```Overview```
The Material Planner will manage inventory within ELG’s ERP system to maintain data, rectify any data issues, and support daily production needs. They will plan inventory, schedule manufacturing orders and coordinate the flow of work and materials. The role will collaborate with a number of internal teams including logistics, production, sales / commercial, inventory, and members of the Plant Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in planning workflow and schedules for production departments with Planning Manager
• Monitor production status to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and raw material and make adjustments to reduce slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Communicate with other departments daily regarding production.
• Maintain spreadsheets for all tolling Suppliers and provide Suppliers with these spreadsheets as needed
• Provide inventory information to traders, Operations & General Manager, as needed Communicate with tolling Suppliers as needed.
• Ensure pricing is correct on all Trader Accounts.
• Regrade material as needed
• Perform Stock Losses/Gains.
• Provide and complete Settlement Reports to traders as needed.
• Communicate with Finance regarding Settlements as needed.
• Update ERP and verify the final pricing of the material.
• Complete Processing Consolidation Work Job Cards (PCWJC) and Sales Work Job Card (SWJC).
• Ensure weight accuracy on all transactions – research discrepancies and rectify.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as needed / scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

```Qualifications```

• High School Diploma or GED along with 1-2 yrs. experience in inventory control preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
