We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and manuals for our products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents encompassing software, systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides.
• Create code documentation for software and produce implementation and end-user guides for capabilities.
• Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation, and format technical publications from various sources.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
• Gather technical information and prepare written text.
• Maintain a current internal documentation library.
• Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials. Work on all phases of documentation.
• Prepare reports, responses, and briefings tailored to various audiences.

Coordinate layout and design of documents.

• Demonstrate attention to detail, poise with grammar and its application, and interpretation of technical terminology during meetings and planning sessions.
• Orient oneself and maintain situational awareness of an IT environment, identifying differentiating factors and technical terms relevant to building next-generation IT services.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required.
• Additional two (2) years of Technical Writer experience may substitute for an associate degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $98,000.00 per year
