If you are a forward-thinker interested in troubleshooting, then keep reading! We are searching for one adept Mechanical Assembler to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

  • Experience with hand tools such as power screwdrivers, hammer, drills and saws
  • Experience with electronic and pneumatic tooling
  • Forklift and pallet jack certified or the ability to become certified
  • Ability to load, unload and drive company vehicles safely
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Familiarity with schematic diagrams is helpful
  • Any electrical experience is a plus


Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

Assist in setting up new building production floor under the supervision of the Continuous Improvement Leader.

  • Move equipment, shelving racks, and materials from one building to another as needed
  • Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble and assemble equipment, shelving, material pallets, etc..
  • Uses proper PPE as required (safety shoes, safety glasses, face mask, back support, etc...
  • Use forklift and/or pallet jack as needed
  • Ability to load, unload and drive company vehicles safely
  • Mount panel components on sub-plates
  • Install controller components in steel enclosures using hand tools
