EPG is Recruiting for a Field Diesel Technician!

Do you have a passion for clean energy solutions and a knack for tackling technical challenges?

EPG is seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Field Diesel Technician to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in helping fleets reduce their carbon footprint and achieve environmental sustainability goals by working with our innovative Vector fuel system technology.

In this role, you will be:

  • The front line for customer service: Performing on-site installations, service, and support for the Vector fuel system.
  • A technical expert: Becoming a master of the Vector system, including its electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  • A skilled communicator: Confidently imparting knowledge to customers, potentially leading to training other fleet technicians.
  • A problem-solver: Researching and resolving technical issues using internal and external resources.
  • A team player: Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Proven experience: A minimum of 5 years in heavy-duty vehicle or equipment installation, diagnostics, and/or repair.
  • Technical expertise: ASE Diesel certification or equivalent, strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair independently.
  • Excellent communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both colleagues and customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • A commitment to learning: A lifelong learner with a desire to continuously expand your skillset.
  • A go-getter: The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A strong work ethic: A dedication to quality work and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time salaried position based in Pittsburgh, PA. The role requires significant domestic travel (75% ) and the ability to work in a variety of environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
