Elevation Land Solutions CAD Technicians I/II are entry-level members of the Production Team and produce detailed drawings of engineering designs with some supervision for land development projects in adherence with company and jurisdictional standards.

¨ Basic understanding of plan production terminology (redlines, stationing, surfaces, profiles, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – CAD TECHNICIAN I (C1):

¨ Basic understanding of AutoCAD & Civil 3D drafting tools and (typical commands, external references, annotations, data shortcuts, layer management, etc.).

¨ Basic understanding of Elevation’s CAD standards.

¨ Ability to understand, address, and back-check basic plan set comments (with guidance).

¨ Ability to set up sheets (and .dst files) for construction plan sets (with guidance).

¨ Ability to fully produce a construction plan set for a single-family project including a title sheet, overalls, plan/profiles, details, etc. (with guidance).

¨ Basic understanding of Elevation’s Plan Production Process & QA/QC Milestones.

¨ Ability to complete Elevation’s Plan Production Process for single-family projects (with guidance).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – CAD TECHNICIAN II (C2):

¨ Basic understanding of land development terminology (utilities, paving, detention, drainage components, etc.).

¨ Clear understanding of AutoCAD & Civil 3D drafting tools (typical commands, external references, annotations, data shortcuts, layer management, etc.).

¨ Proficient with Elevation’s CAD Standards.

¨ Ability to understand, address, and back-check most drafting-related plan set comments (with guidance).

¨ Ability to fully produce a construction plan set for a single-family project, including a title sheet, overalls, plan/profiles, details, etc. (without guidance).

¨ Clear understanding of Elevation’s Plan Production Process & QA/QC Milestones.

¨ Ability to complete Elevation’s Plan Production Process for single-family projects (without guidance).

¨ Ability to perform Peer Drafting QA/QC Checks of single-family plan sets (without guidance).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
