Cash Office Associate

Position summary

Responsible for preforming all phases of the stores cash office and Check cashing operations in an accurate and efficient manner to ensure that work shift contributes positively to the best interests of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements.

Education Level: HS Graduate or equivalent(GED)

Job Experience: Cash Office

Observe strict confidentially of all company records and financial information and safeguard against unauthorized access to such information at all times.

Monitor front end activities to ensure that all cashiers comply with stores policies in the handling of all transactions: cash, checks, debit/credit cards, ID requirements, refunds, coupons, gift cards, and other transactions that may occur. Accurately operate multiple cash drawers, make change, cash checks and issue receipts. Accurately balancing cash and media ledger and ensuring cash is controlled and safety deposited. Knowledgeable and capable of implementing all related security and cashdrawer accounting procedures. Keeping management informed of problems with, cash registers, or other accounting problems. Maintaining records on cash controls for internal audits.

Answer phones and direct the call to the relevant department or take accurate messages.

Knowledge/ Skills / Abilities

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents basic mathematical skills Suggestive selling knowledge of products, Detail oriented, Must be able to multi task.

Great customer service skills are required.
