The BOH Supervisor assists with leading by example and by providing team members with the knowledge and skills necessary to create an exceptional dining experience for each guest. Provides leadership, supervision, and direction on shift operations in order to consistently meet or exceed the guest experience in relation to food safety and food quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the KM to provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH cast members including food preparation and production, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
- Ensure the freshness of food products through proper product rotation and quality control
- Checks food storage and temperatures daily, records the temperatures on the log sheet, and notifies maintenance of any issues
- Communicates, implements, and follow up on all changes for food products and kitchen systems and procedures/ if applicable
- Performs daily opening, mid and closing operation duties
- Attends training for new menu items and training kitchen team members on proper preparation of new menu items
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- HS Diploma or GED certificate required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safety, State Alcohol and ServSafe Manager certification required
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
