Family Coordinator /Mobile Crisis Responder
Position Summary The Family Coordinator/Mobile Crisis Responder performs general functions as a primary and secondary crisis worker in family/child/adults advocacy working within community .The Family Coordinator will provide primary and secondary crisis services for juveniles and their families, working to identify strengths, goals, while addressing potential barriers to success. The Family Coordinator will connect the family with behavioral and mental health resources to promote positive outcomes. As Mobile Crisis Responder is to assist clients in crisis in developing a stabilization plan they can follow when returning home after the crisis experience as well as helping identify how they can use coping skills to help in the next situation. Location may vary based on location of clients.
Job Descritption
· Complete outreach to promote programs to include a 8 county service area mobile crisis as well as a twenty-seven-county program providing support and advocacy to juveniles and placement families after a DHS coordinated removal of a juvenile from their home.
