Responsibilities:
- As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ensuring that infection control and safety protocols are followed in all cleaning procedures.
- Handling and disposing of waste in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to report any issues or repairs needed.
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup of special events or activities within the nursing home.
- Providing support and a friendly presence for residents as you perform your duties.
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Physical ability to perform the tasks associated with the role, including lifting and moving light furniture.
