Elevate Care Niles is Hiring a Restorative Aide Near Niles, IL

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Restorative Aide delivers efficient and effective restorative nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. He/she will provide care within the standards of practice as accorded by Certification.

The Restorative Aide functions under the direction of the licensed nurse and in consultation with Rehabilitation to promote the patient's ability to attain, and maintain his/her maximum functional potential and prevent decline.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees, directs and participates in restorative programs initiated for individual patients
  • Communicates with the Nursing and Rehabilitation Departments concerning goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs
  • Participates in care planning process
  • Provides safe restorative care
  • Responsible for facilitating the transition of patients from skilled rehab services to the restorative programs
  • Maintains accurate restorative nursing progress/documentation records on all patients participating in any restorative program
  • May be requested to function as CNA if needed

Requirements

  • Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant license
  • Two years' experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

One year experience as Restorative Aide
