Job requirements:

• Restock all unit shelves to maintain an adequate supply for the nursing staff daily
• Maintains an inventory that is not excessive
• Completes physical inventory daily and orders products as required
• Checks and removes expired products or those near the expiration date
• Records receipt appropriately and maintain pertinent records
• Works with Nursing Unit Managers to organize stock room and review par levels
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Clean storage areas should be maintained by the Department of Health, JACHO and infection control standards
• Ensures that orders are delivered to the correct unit within 24 hours of delivery to the facility.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
• 1-3 years experience in a nursing home/hospital setting is highly preferred
• Ability to push, pull, walk, or stand for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
• Computer skills required: Will be required to use MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
