Job Description

The Delivery Network Business Development Specialist is responsible for engaging in lead generation activities to promote medical center member enrollment via phone or through in person interaction at community events.

How you will make an Impact :

  • Promotes enrollment by providing education and communicating information on Medicare products / services and / or medical center services to prospective members.
  • Responds to inquiries, requests for information, concerns and complaints. Answers questions, prepares reports, documents calls and complaints, clarifies benefits, and refers prospective patients.
  • Provides solutions to problems and serves as a liaison between members, providers and interdepartmental areas.
  • Maintains knowledge of product portfolio, medical centers, and associated eligibility guidelines.
  • May represent the plan and / or medical centers at events.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Bilingual (fluency in English / Spanish) required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience :

  • Medicare Advantage Products experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Creole preferred.
