Overview:

We are seeking a Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for construction estimating.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services

- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop comprehensive project proposals

- Conduct thorough research to obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors

- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions

- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create detailed estimates

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost control recommendations

- Review project changes and adjust estimates accordingly

- Maintain accurate records of all estimating activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes

- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documents

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
