Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our facility in Princeton, MN, 55371. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, machine safety inspections, and experience in a manufacturing environment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor provides supervision, coordination, and support for the activities of preventative equipment maintenance on production machinery, building, and grounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensure compliance of the maintenance department to company guidelines.
• Perform OSHA required inspections and assist with safety committee maintenance fixes
• Preventative maintenance of equipment
• Maintenance support for production
• Plant and facility security, upkeep, and outside vendor liaison
• Manage the R&M budget for facilities and equipment
• Assist/support the Operations Manager with tasks as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent with post-secondary education in maintenance preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in maintenance positions in Manufacturing
• Knowledge of electrical wiring systems, repair work, installations, construction works, plumbing, dry walling, flooring, etc.
• Strong computer skills. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and recordkeeping.
• OSHA 10 Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Ability to consistently wear personal protective equipment
• Standing, walking, and bending consistently
• Periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use power tools
