The Case Manager will have frequent client contact and should have experience with medical records review and analysis. The Case Manager will assist clients with medical providers, prepare files to submit demand letters and provide excellent client service. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all our clients’ needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Initiating and maintaining client contact on a regular basis.

· Fully investigate each case, gathering, and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.

· Verify insurance coverage and liability issues and maintain contact with insurance company.

· Manage client’s medical care keeping in constant communication with client and medical providers.

· Schedule and calendar medical appointments, explain procedures and related documentation to clients.

· Continuously monitor case status, treatment status and recommendations.

· Request records on an ongoing basis, review and analyze records.

· Organize and maintain case files, preparing files to be submitted to Demand Writer.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to manage a large volume of cases at a time.

· Litify or Salesforce experience is a plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.

· Some relevant experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Case manager or intake: 1 year (Required)
