Overview:
We are a medium-sized solar energy company helping homes and businesses go solar in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our growing company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining customer accounts. This is a vital role within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Process credit memos and adjustments
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, or other irregularities
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries or issues
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with payroll

Qualifications:
- Experience with SOVs and lien waivers
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or related financial role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is a plus

- Experience with commercial invoicing is a plus
- Desire to be a team player

This position is heavy on commercial AR, which requires a high level of organization and documentation. The ability to pay attention to detail and constantly be accurate is a must.

Office hours are Monday through Friday and start time can be by 9 am or earlier. After training, work-from-home may be available if you have a personal laptop/computer (we provide only an in-office computer due to specific access requirements).

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
