**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting engineers in various tasks, including testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining engineering systems and equipment. This person must be highly driven to complete projects and goals without supervision. The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated to learn new skills and put them to use for the good of the company.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist engineers in designing, building, and testing mechanical systems
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Perform soldering and fabrication tasks as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers and other electronic components
- Collect and analyze data to support engineering projects
- Provide support in the assembly of prototypes and final products
**Skills:**
- Critical thinking and the ability to design solutions on the fly
- Works well within a team environment
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Ability to solder electronic components accurately
- Knowledge of building and maintaining mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of Logic controllers and their functions, or the ability to learn about them
- Capability to fabricate parts based on engineering specifications
- Machining (CNC and Manual) and Welding skills highly desired
- Interpretation of technical schematics
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repair

Pay: $24.00 - $25.94 per hour
