Element Materials Technology is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Glendale Heights, IL

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator. This position is part of the team serving US, Canada and Mexico. The Payroll Administrator will be able to process payroll for up to 600 employees on a Bi Weekly and Weekly basis reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in bi-weekly payroll processing for North Americas Payroll to validate adds, changes and separations are accurately reflected
  • Administer any irregular payments such as incentives, bonuses and commissions
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues, escalating to the Senior Payroll Manager, Americas as required
  • Monitor timecard exceptions working with supervisors to clear and approve on bi-weekly basis for assigned company codes
  • Prepare T4’s, ROE’s (Canada) and payroll reports for cross-training

Skills / Qualifications

  • Familiar with US payroll-muliti states
  • US Payroll Association certification a plus, FPC or CPP
  • Excellent skills using ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, MS Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
