Must be available for mid-shifts (such as 10a - 6:30p) and evening shifts (3:30p - 12a).

We are seeking someone to join our hotel team who is self-directed, self-motivated, detail oriented, and can provide excellent customer service. This job will be responsible for driving the company shuttle vehicle, performing tasks related to maintenance and upkeep of the property, and assisting the other departments as needed. This individual will also be responsible for sanitation of all public areas, performing security walks and controlling traffic in public spaces.

• Assist guests by driving the shuttle to their desired location
• Clean all public areas in accordance with brand standards and management, including, but not limited to parking lot, hallways, elevators, service areas, stairways, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
• Perform tasks, including, but not limited to dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
• Complete deep cleaning or preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Ensure all hotel property is in working order. Report missing articles, damage, or mechanical problems to management or supervisor, as necessary.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed (for example flip mattresses, move furniture).
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Over 21 years old
• No serious violations on MVR over the past three years
• Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
• General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
• Demonstrate genuine care for guests and employees
• Able to understand and speak some of the English language.
• Able to prioritize work assignments.
• Demonstrate genuine care for quality of work.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to walk and/or stand for the majority of your shift.
• Maintenance experience preferred but not required

Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing to work evenings and weekends. This position drives our shuttle vehicles, and must have a valid driver's license. Ideal candidates would be willing to commit to 32-40 hours per week, as well as have an outgoing and friendly personality.
