Element Consulting Inc. is looking for a Project Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have school construction experience, experience with a large construction bond program, with a positive attitude, and be able to support multiple projects at any given time.
Position Description:
· Ensure invoice entries in PMIS are correct and supporting documentation is provided.
· Confirm sequencing and formatting of invoice entries in PMIS are compatible with integration into accounting software.
· Review Bond Program invoices per accounting procedures.
· Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies with invoice items and resolve expeditiously.
· Communicate with applicable construction and professional services vendors as needed.
· Work directly with outside team members on cost and invoice commitments and expenditure matters.
· Work effectively with other department personnel in order to resolve any invoice payment issues to ensure timely processing of invoices.
· Perform other activities as needed as requested by the Finance and Accounting leadership.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· AA Certificate
· 1 year of work experience.
· Ability to work with business enterprise software
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to communication and present effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
· College certificate or bachelor’s degree in business or related degree/certificate.
Salary dependent on education and experience. Salary range: $45K-$65K
