POSITION SUMMARY

Elektrofi is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our biotech company full-time as a Engineer II/III in Process Development to support the development of the novel Elektrofi formulation platform. The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and industry professionals.

A successful candidate will contribute to Elektrofi’s mission-critical platform and program development activities. This individual will execute process development experiments and engineering initiatives leading to GMP readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning, execution, and documentation of process development experiments, with a focus on generating and analyzing data to develop models characterizing unit operation performance
  • Documentation and presentation of results within PD and cross-functionally
  • Installation, testing, qualification, and troubleshooting of process equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or M.S in Chemical, Biomedical, Materials, or Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, plus 2 – 6 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands on experience with process operations such as pumping, mixing, blending, liquid handling, drying, separation/filtration, and fill-finish.
  • A detail-oriented approach to experimentation
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced R&D environment
  • Familiarity with computer programming languages and standard office software (MS Office)
  • Working knowledge of basic methods of data analysis
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly document experimental work
