In Electrolux North America, the Business Area (BA) Controlling team is a central function within Finance. The team leads the Business Area financials and reporting to local management, Group HQ and the Board. We are in a dynamic and fast-moving environment acting as financial advisor to BA Management by providing decision making support, business intelligence and financial performance reporting.

We are looking for Senior Analyst Business Controlling who has a strong project and data analysis background and a transformation mindset. You will partner with the most senior executives across Finance, Accounting and the business to provide financial insights that will shape the future direction of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Analyst Business Controlling position has overall responsibility and accountability for understanding and communicating total BA financial position as well as transforming current processes. It is also responsible for providing financial information to management by creating and maintaining periodic reports that analyze and communicate actual performance and the implications of ongoing business decisions as well as forecasting future performance. The operational responsibilities include:

  • Business partner with senior executives and collaborate with other finance teams to develop value-add management reporting and improve financial processes.
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives in existing planning processes across finance teams, drive automation, streamline the deliverables and improve how we leverage internal systems.
  • Drive the monthly forecast process activities and build around it an insightful reporting for the leadership.
  • Support the annual plan process for the Business Area.
  • Support the monthly closing process, including monthly reporting and analysis packages.
  • Proactively identify trends and provide suggestions to maximize profitability and safeguard assets.
  • Develop financial and operational simulation models and scenario analysis.
  • Involvement in strategic planning process.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for leadership team and group.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in Finance/Statistics/Business Administration is required. MBA is a plus.
  • 5 years of related finance and/or continuous improvement experience.
  • Project experience in high paced environments focused on rapid results (rapid performance improvement, turnaround).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics and Expert Excel modeling.
  • Proven SQL experience.
  • Proven experience with dashboarding and business intelligence applications such as PowerBI, Qlik or Tableau.
  • SAP experienced preferred.
  • Familiarity with BPC, Essbase or AARO is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, constantly evolving business environment.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities, that will drive alignment and resolution of critical business issues.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to deliver compelling messages to executives to drive effective decision making.
  • High ability to work under pressure with short and squeezed deadlines.
