Description: Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

ECI has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. The position will encompass a variety of tasks including achieving expertise in defining project scopes of work, project budgeting, project proposals, project management and scheduling. Plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or unusual problems which have an important effect on ECI's performance and reputation. Fully responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating work assignments. Maintain liaison with professionals and associates within and outside ECI for the purpose of remaining technically current on a wide variety of engineering related topics. Plan, organize and supervise project teams in the performance of engineering work. Demonstrate technical excellence through fulfilling recognized positions of authority and responsibility on technical committees, working groups and societies, or alternatively author and publish/present technical papers or seminars. Autonomous QA/QC responsibility in area(s) of primary technical competence. Fully responsible for managing groups of engineers, technicians and other project support team members of various sizes. Primary responsibility for project budgets and schedules, and the impact of project performance on ECI's overall firm performance. Fully responsible for the safety for managing groups of engineers, technicians and other project support team members of various sizes.

Minimum Requirements: BSEE or BSCE and 10 years' experience, or a M.S. degree in engineering with sufficient experience required for advancement as determined by management, or a combination of applicable education and experience as determined by management; professional registration (engineer or surveyor). Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; proven excellent level of interpersonal skills; ability to work individually and on a team. Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills. The successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required. Successful applicant is subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
