Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low-Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low-voltage systems. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in network installation and computer networking to apply their skills in a dynamic and growing industry.
Duties:
· Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including network cabling, Ethernet, wireless, telephone, and telecommunication systems (VOIP, Cloud-based and Premise)
· Troubleshoot, service, and installation of CCTV systems
· Troubleshoot, service, and installation of various A/V systems.
· Perform field service visits to client sites for system installations and repairs
· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
· Conduct site surveys to assess system requirements and make recommendations for improvements
· Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and system configurations
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role
· Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols
· Familiarity with low voltage systems such as Ethernet, telephone, and telecommunication systems
· Proficiency in cabling techniques and installation practices
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
