Electrical Components International (ECI) is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our team in St. Louis, MO with hybrid or remote work capabilities!

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years accounting experience
  • Established analytical skills with ability to communicate findings to team
  • Experience with General Ledger/fixed asset or ERP Systems such as BPCS
  • Understanding of US GAAP

About the Position:

The Corporate Accountant will play an integral role within the Controllership function. The position will be a leader in close process for multiple locations and will be involved with preparation of financial statements.

Duties Include:

  • Assist with the month-end closing process including journal entry preparation for multiple locations
  • Assist junior level plant accounting personnel with identifying proper general ledger accounts for non-routine transactions
  • Collaborate with plant accounting and shared services to ensure customer invoices are properly issued and recorded, including intercompany sales
  • Assist with account management for select customers
  • Calculate and compile key performance indicators for select locations
  • Elimination/reconciliation of intercompany activity and balances
  • General ledger accounting including month-end reconciliations and account analysis
  • Track capital spending
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Preparation of cash flows
  • Assist in coordination of deliverables to external auditors
  • Work with cross function leaders and provide applicable support when requested
  • Maintain records in accordance with company policy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
  • CPA preferred
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience required
  • Large company experience in manufacturing, accounting operations or capital project management preferred
  • Experience with General Ledger/fixed asset or ERP System such as BPCS
  • Understanding of US GAAP
