ROLE DESCRIPTION:

A successful candidate for this role will possess the demonstrated ability to work with large, complex data, tease out insight using a combination of modeling, regression, and machine learning techniques and provide results in a useful format. The Data Scientist should demonstrate excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills with a strong passion and curiosity for big data.

Skills focused on: Python, Data Engineering and Analysis, Data visualization, Machine Learning, Understanding of Emerging Technical Trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate data sets
• Monitor landscape for potentially relevant AI/ML technologies or capabilities
• Assess AI/ML capabilities to determine interest and applicability
• Provide programmatic support and stakeholder engagement for AI/ML pilots and technical evaluations
• Quantify data to provide unique insights; develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Design, develop, and maintain data science solutions
• Present information through reports and visualization
• Translate intelligence needs to technical specifications and documented requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: 

• TS/SCI with Poly Required
• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7. Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Analyticsor related field, or equivalent work experience 
•  Python Data Engineering and analysis Data visualization Machine learning Understanding of emerging technical trends 
•  Strong communication skills – verbal and written – with all levels of stakeholders
