Eleanor Health is Hiring a Remote Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Operations

Position Description

The Senior Manager of Revenue Operations will be responsible for the day to day oversight of the Revenue Operations team. The Senior Manager of Revenue Operations manages all functions of the organization’s billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and leadership qualities are also essential for this role. This position reports to the Director of Revenue Operations.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary liaison and subject matter expert for Eleanor’s revenue cycle team
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross functional revenue cycle team
  • Oversight of the revenue cycle department in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing
  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
  • Personnel management, including staff development, hiring, and retention
  • Build effective collaborative relationships with cross-functional, organizational stakeholders, like Clinical Operations and Member Services, to drive efficiency and performance.
  • In conjunction with Eleanor’s accounting and finance team, implement procedures and reconciliation for Accounts Receivable to ensure that AR aging remains current and payments are collected in a timely manner
  • Oversight of large scale revenue cycle sponsored projects and initiatives 
  • Undertake a variety of projects such as creating custom reports, analyzing data, writing
  • documentation, or finding solutions to workflow challenges
  • In partnership with the various functions within the revenue cycle team, develop strategies to improve and accelerate the revenue cycle process
  • In support of the Director, help maintain documentation of team processes and procedures, including operating manuals and training materials.
  • Assist the CFO and Finance team with special projects as deemed necessary

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years revenue cycle experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement and third party payer regulation and medical terminology is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for numbers
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

Preferred:

  • Behavioral Health and substance use disorder experience preferred
  • Experience with value-based care or alternative payment models preferred 
  • Athena experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation & Benefits:

The total target compensation range for this position is $80,000-95,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
