Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our grounds and outdoor areas. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Perform regular lawn care and garden maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Utilize hand tools for various landscaping tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter
- Assist with planting and transplanting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment - Power washing parking lot and pumps - Cleaning glass - Assisting customers with cards at pump and pump maintenance - Filling propane bottles
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of proper lawn care techniques and plant maintenance
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools used in landscaping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
