Reporting to the Executive Director, the Major Responsibility is:

To engage with the communities in support of operations for Crestview Manor, Twin Cities Pavilion, and Elder Services of Okaloosa County. To bring positive recognition of the mission of all of our corporate organizations.

Duties:

1. Attend meetings of local Chambers of Commerce and network with local businesses and organizational representatives.

2. Develop and Maintain a well-received social media presence.

3. Regularly submit photos/articles for posting to the Website.

4. Approach and establish relationships with local business in support of organizational missions.

5. Work with the Executive Director to explore opportunities to disseminate information regarding services within the community.

6. Develop relationships with physician offices and Discharge Planners for local hospitals to share organizational services and encourage referrals.

7. Attend local Health Fairs to distribute information regarding services.

8. Coordinate efforts with the Executive Director in planning and executing public relation events that bring positive recognition to the organizations.

9. Provide the Director with a weekly report detailing all contacts made, meetings attended and progress summary to include social media activity.

10. Work closely with Alternative Living Facility Directors to discern current needs and coordinate public awareness.

11. Develop a network of local service providers for state and federally funded programs.

12. Support community fundraising efforts as requested.

13. All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Requirements: Must be flexible and ever conscience of the mission of the organizations in serving the most vulnerable population. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Must have good time management skills. This position requires an individual who understands the special needs of elderly and/or handicapped individuals. Employee shall work to improve the presence of the organizations within their respective community.

Education and Skills: GED or high school diploma. Must possess strong computer and social media skills. Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid Florida driver license.

The position will be required to submit to a Level II Background Screening and must be free of any disqualifying events. This is a drug free environment.

Wage: $15.00 - $16.00/hour. Increases not to exceed 3% per annum and as permitted by the budget. This is a part-time position.
