We are currently looking to fill the positions of:

Shipping Dock Support

• DAY SHIFT
• Up to $26 per hour DOE

Monday thru Friday - Dayshift

Duties for the Shipping Dock Support to include:

• Responsible for helping the workflow of the terminal loading/unloading incoming and outgoing freight according to laws and observing all safety regulations while meeting timelines.
• Properly loading and unloading freight using hand truck, pallet jack, by hand and/or forklift
• Strap, brace, and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting during transport.
• Accurately record the condition of freight as it arrives at the terminal.
• Perform per-shift and post-shift inspection of powered industrial truck.
• Complies with powered industrial truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on freight movements.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns, escalating as warranted.
• Uses knowledge of freight movement to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements for Shipping Dock Support Experience

• Must be able to work independently.
• Capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Overtime may be required.

Physical activities for Shipping Dock Support Experience to include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, turning, ability to navigate computer apps etc. Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job.
