ELAM CONSTRUCTION is Hiring a Contract Administrator Near Grand Junction, CO

Elam Construction is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator.

Pay DOE: $20/hour - $25/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing Subcontractor/Hired Hauler/Vendor insurance certificates and update Viewpoint
  • Bid bond requests
  • Payment and performance bond requests
  • Prepare prequalification packages
  • Review and submit certified payrolls
  • Process subcontractor contracts
  • Maintain Highway Division project files
  • Process various government forms
  • Process subcontractor certified payrolls
  • Maintain approved subcontractor and hired hauler spreadsheet
  • Process requests for certificates of insurance
  • Maintain local business contractor/business licenses
  • Office support for Highway Division
  • Backup for receptionist

Skill, Education, and Experience Requirements:

  • Word, Excel, Internet, and general computer and office skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Notary or ability to become a Notary
  • Valid driver s license

Working Environment / Physical Skills:

Moderate lifting (supplies)

Hours 8:00 – 5:00 varies with an hour lunch

40 hours week with occasional overtime
