Who We Are: EL1 Sports is a national sports training company created by athletes, coaches, and educators who believe in the transformative power of sport to make a difference in people’s lives both on and off the field. We provide expert instruction and a full suite of administrative solutions in the service of athletes, teams, organizations, tournaments, and events. EL1 is the proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball.

Internship Overview: The Social Media Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing content and social media posts for EL1 Sports. This position will work closely with the executive team and other marketing team members to create and post engaging social media content that promotes EL1 Sports and its brands. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and creative individual with a strong understanding of social media marketing.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Attend tournaments to capture content during baseball tournaments in Seattle, WA, and the surrounding area.
• Support the development and execution of social media posts for EL1 Sports, including creating and scheduling social media posts, collaborating with the executive team to develop social media content that aligns with their goals and tracking and analyzing social media metrics.
• Support the Leagues & Tournaments team with weekly social media posts and reposts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other media as requested by the executive team.
• Create and post new employee spotlight content and other employee spotlight content as requested.
• Post new facility announcements.
• Administer the Sprout Social mailboxes responding to inquiries and forwarding as appropriate.
• Support the creation of the monthly company newsletter.
• Other duties as requested by the Senior Director of Marketing Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• A motivated individual currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. We are also open to enthusiastic interns seeking college credit or individuals solely seeking experience in sports marketing.
• A genuine passion for social media, backed by relevant coursework and hands-on experience.
• An individual interested in attending and producing marketing content for baseball tournaments and events. 
• Proficiency with social media platforms and analytical tools.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A creative mindset with a knack for innovative solutions.
• An independent worker who thrives in a team environment.
