Job Summary

This individual will work with our adults with intellectual disabilities in their residential facility providing support with their activities of daily living, medication, and light housekeeping. The right individual will have a passion for assisting those who need additional support and will be willing to work as a team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervises and monitors participans activities in their residential facility.
• Monitor and manage medication administration for residents.
• Coordinates the implementation of the individuals goals and objectives as provided by the QIDP.
• Supervises the administration of medication, as needed.
• Ensures the safety of program participants.
• Intervenes and redirects participants maladaptive behaviors.
• Assists in planning community outings.
• Complies with training requirements as directed by and other applicable regulators.
• Coordinates home visits and participants attendance at scheduled events.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of job-related prior experience preferred.
• Successful completion of CPR and First Aid courses required.
• Successful completion of Direct Support Person (DSP) training.'
