Warehouse Bookkeeper/Office Assistant (Bi-Lingual with English/Spanish a plus)
Produce Distribution Company based in the Port Washington, NY, currently seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible person with previous bookkeeping experience.
Primary Responsibilities for Bookkeeper/Office Assistant:
Produce Distribution Company based in the Port Washington, NY, currently seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible person with previous bookkeeping experience.
Primary Responsibilities for Bookkeeper/Office Assistant:
- Receive Purchase Orders in FreshByte software
- Report trouble files and scan any necessary paperwork
- Print all pick tickets as needed
- Inform staff (Miami & NY and Salespersons) on items not being shipped on the orders
- Scan any pertinent information relating to pick tickets and items not shipped
- Log daily trucking information on Microsoft Excel
- Enter packouts into FreshByte software and scan information
- Review time cards with Managers/Supervisors and scan information in a timely manner
- Collect and scan all invoices and ensure all invoices are signed
- Review containers of inventory and report on summary of information to necessary personnel
- Printing invoices for deliveries to customers
Requirements for Bookkeeper/Office Assistant:
- Excellent communication and verbal skills
- Ability to reconcile across several documents
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Working knowledge of Excel
Compensation and Benefits for Bookkeeper/Office Assistant:
- Commensurate pay based on experience
- $17-$20 Based on Experience
- Full Medical Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision and other Supplemental Benefits)
- Paid-Time off (Personal, Vacation and Holidays)
- Shift Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm
