El Concilio is accepting applications for our open Infant and Toddler Site Supervisor Position. Site Supervisor will be under the supervision of our Program Coordinator. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct line of supervision over those Teachers and Assistant Teachers assigned and is directly responsible for center level operations and for all components of quality in the child development center which includes maintaining positive staff relationships, working effectively with children and parents, developing and implementing appropriate program for children enrolled in the program. The position also calls for coordination of training and resources for classroom staff within Head Start to ultimately provide children with a learning environment and the varied experiences which will help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development toward the overall goal of social competency.

Employment Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

Work Hours: Monday - Friday; Hours vary by site/classroom

Requirements:

• Background Check - FBI, DOJ, CACI
• Health Records/Immunizations
• Valid Driver's License.
• Up-to-date Car Insurance
• CPR & First Aid with EMSA certification; completion within 60 days of hire

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education or related field with a Site Supervisor Permit or higher is highly preferred; An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a Site Supervisor Permit or higher is required. A minimum of 3 units in Infant & Toddler are required.
