El Concilio is Hiring an Employment specialist Near Tracy, CA

El Concilio California is seeking to fulfill the position of a Employment Training Specialist within our CalWORKs program at our Tracy office location.

This position entails assisting families who have applied for public benefits, and have been determined eligible by the County to participate in the Welfare to Work program.

The Employment Training Specialist will scaffold transitioning clients from public assistance to gainful employment. This position requires a Employment Training Specialist to be detail orientated as far as completed documentation, scheduling meetings with clients, and tracking participation.

The Employment Training Specialist shall become familiar with CalWORKs Tracy program guidelines and requirements. The case load for this position will vary based on contracts, but may range from 90 - 100.

This position will require the Employment Training Specialist to contact outside resources and providers to validate client and confirm status of client participation.

Per our home visit procedures, the Employment Training Specialist will occasionally conduct home visitations to retain program engagement.

Employment Type : Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Requirements :

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Background Check
  • Health Screening / Immunizations
  • Qualifications : A Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or related discipline with 1 - 3 years in a related field is highly preferred;

or an Associates Degree in a related field with 2 - 4 years of experience; or a High School Diploma with 3-5 years of experience in Case Management is required.
