eka healthcare is Hiring a Radiology Technician(special procedure tech) Near Louisville, KY

Summary

Department: Surgery

Shift Timings: 6:45–17:15 Monday–Friday (4 days/10 hours)

Per Week: 40 hours

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greets patients by confirming patient identification; reviewing imaging request; checking for special instructions; confirming anticipated services with patient
  • Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions
  • Provide timely and accurate assessment, identification and delivery of special procedures or other interventional examination services to access patients

Ensure file systems are set-up properly

  • Assist in transporting patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory of supplies and contrast availability
  • Document supplies used during procedures for utilization and billing purposes
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records of radiological procedures
  • Enter pertinent information in computer system to assist in statistical, research and patient follow up.​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Required licensure is ARRT (VI)
  • ​Procedures = Angiogram, TAVR, EVAR, TVAR, FEVAR, TCAR, Lead extraction
  • ​Equipment = Siemen’s radiological table and injector
  • ​There are 2 Hybrid rooms and 3 other Rad Techs. We do about 30 procedures a week.​​​
