The Service & Parts Manager for EJ Equipment, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service and parts departments. This includes managing a team of technicians and parts specialists, ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and overseeing the ordering and inventory of parts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service and parts departments, including scheduling appointments, assigning work orders, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards
- Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitoring and analyzing department performance metrics, such as labor hours, parts sales, and customer satisfaction scores
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure that customers receive a seamless experience from purchase to service
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and negotiating pricing for parts and supplies
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial truck or automotive industry. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as a thorough understanding of service and parts operations. Experience in business management or a related field is preferred.
