Direct Support Professional
Location: Neptune City
Looking for a patient and caring self-directed employee for a fun, active and social young woman living at home with her family.
She enjoys participating in the following activities:
- A variety of arts and crafts/Scrapbooking
- Listening to music
- Watching singing and dance shows Exploring her community
- Swimming
- Shopping
Connecting to her community is important to her as well as her family. She enjoys staying busy and engaged.
Part of the position will be assisting her with household chores, organization skills, reading, and personal care.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge with American Sign Language is a plus but not required.
- Candidates should be knowledgeable and comfortable working with IPAD and have full understanding that it is used for communication purposes.
- Reliable car is a must.
- Training will be provided.
- RBT and ABA experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Job Requirements:
- The employee must be willing to have a background check and drug screen done.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle in good working condition for transportation.
Job Type: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour
Available shifts:
- Tuesday 8:30am-12:30pm
- Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
- Per Diem
- On-Call
Payroll will be managed through PPL
No smoking allowed on the property
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
