Today, we are geographically spread with 1800 employees, 10 design centers and offices in India, Japan and the USA.Job DescriptionSoftware QA Automation for Wireless Products:Seeking a talented individual with an appropriate level of experience and interest in Software Validation Automation. As an embedded automation team member, you will help guide expansion in automation excellence by ensuring that software enabled wireless products are robust and reliable, that they will work well with source devices (e.g. phones, tablets, mp3 players, laptops). You will work with engineers to support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from product inception to start of production and beyond. You will be tasked with providing potential solutions to new technologies and new features. Support will include demonstration interfaces and manufacturing API’s.Responsibilities:Follow best practices and ensuring coding standards.Support team direction to best implement continuous integration and automated overnight build testing.Support automation framework enhancements.Design and implement Python code for new or existing features.Design, implement and execute automated test procedures for wireless headphone and mobile speaker products.Develop automation test suites for user interface, embedded components, and application software components.Support all phases of the software lifecycle including requirements analysis, testing, release validation, and documentation.Utilize test case management and issue tracking systems.Collaborate across the organization with a desire to teach and learn from others.Occasional international or local travel to support meetings with 3rd party suppliers or test labs.QualificationsBSEE/BSCS/BSCE with a minimum of 6-8 years related work experience.Experience working with Embedded product automation.Experience with Mobile device automation.Experience with Python and other scripting languages.Experience with JIRA, Jama, and source code management (SCM) tools (Subversion, Git, Jenkins, etc.).Expertise with Bluetooth, Wifi, or other networking protocols.Experience with basic lab equipment (Bluetooth analyzers).Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
