Title: Material Handling--CDL Truck Driver

Job Purpose

The Material Hander / CDL Truck Driver is responsible for operating various types of equipment (Box Truck / Tractor Trailers) (Pallet Jacks both Manual and Electric, Sit-down Fork truck and Standup Fork trucks (optional)) and maintaining accurate material movement with handheld scanners. Accurately checking quality material movement and job processing and following pre-established procedures and guidelines from start to finish in a high production environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED along with minimal 3 years of working in a manufacturing environment required. The successful candidate will possess the following:

· Must have a clean driving record, with proof of a valid driving license with CDL certification.

o Must have 3-5 years of experience tractor trailer experience.

o Yard horse/Tugger experience at cross-dock facilities would be preferred.

o Willing to load/unload materials and transfer truckload of product between a ¼ mile campus of 4 buildings.

· Experience of loading and unload LTL, OTR and Ocean containers could be part of daily job functions.

· Experience to process BOL for inbound and outbound shipments

· Mathematical aptitude is mandatory

· Performs work in a safe manner following all company rules and procedures

· Operate multiple type of material handling equipment to support production process throughout the manufacturing facility.

· Basic troubleshooting skills when it come to follow verbal and written process on order processing.

· Ability to move materials in and out of racking up to 24ft in height.

· Basic computer skills to include data entry in mandatory

· Ability to learn and understand the processing of customer orders

· Ability to write and record information legibly

· Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions

· Excellent attendance and punctuality are mandatory

Additional Duties Include

· Load and unloads material from pallets as needed. (30lbs weight limit)

· Pays attention to detail and seeks clarification when quality requirements are uncertain

· Attentively report machine breakdown to material handling equipment

· Performs routine housekeeping a must throughout the ones shift

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
