Job Description:

As a Master Electrician at Kasselman Solar, you will play a pivotal role in our solar installations. This position involves leading the electrical aspects of solar system installations and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Master Electrician will work closely with the installation teams and project managers, providing expertise and guidance in all electrical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

· Electrical Installations: Lead the electrical installation of solar PV systems, including panel wiring, inverter setup, and grid connection.

· System Design and Planning: Collaborate with engineers and designers in planning and executing electrical designs for solar installations.

· Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes. Promote and adhere to strict safety standards and procedures.

· Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in existing solar systems, providing efficient and effective solutions.

· Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, promoting a culture of learning and professionalism.

· Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical installations.

· Customer Service: Engage with customers to explain the electrical aspects of solar installations and address any concerns with professionalism and expertise.

· Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest electrical codes, solar technologies, and industry trends through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

Valid Master Electrician license.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Proven experience as a Master Electrician, preferably in solar installations or related fields.

Deep understanding of electrical systems, solar technology, and applicable codes and standards.

Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising a team.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Ability to work in various environments and on rooftops.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
