Job Title: IT Systems Architect

Pay Rate: $80-$90 per hour

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Normal business hours Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work). Total of 1820 hours per year.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide integrated and secure solutions across the enterprise, assessing business requirements and identifying technical specifications.
2. Collaborate with engineering team members to innovate solutions meeting NYPD and FDNY requirements.
3. Work with Engineers, Applied Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure system functionality and interoperability.
4. Maintain stable enterprise architecture following best engineering practices.
5. Assist in writing, optimizing, and executing QA/Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) test plans.
6. Aid in controlled execution of releases into the production environment.

Scope of Services: IT Systems Architect

1. Provide integrated and secure solutions, assess business requirements, and identify technical specifications.
2. Collaborate with team to create defect-free solutions meeting public safety requirements.
3. Ensure system stability and interoperability, following best engineering practices.
4. Assist in QA/Acceptance testing and controlled release execution.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree with minimum 15 years in Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure Engineering within PS environment.
2. Proficiency in systems development lifecycle, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
3. Strong technical architecture skills for future-proof public safety solutions.
4. Experience in multi-tier system development for large enterprises.
5. Ability to design strategies around applications or processes.
6. Integration, Engineering, and Testing background for Public Safety Answering Center System of Systems.
7. Excellent written, oral, presentation, and facilitation skills.
8. Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Integration for complex applications within Public Safety domain.
