Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Tax Senior Associate in Minneapolis, MN might include the following:

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations including consolidated entities for a variety of clients & industries
• Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed - including tax planning, client interaction and performing special tax projects.
• Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.

Who You Are

• You have good communication skills, both written and verbal. You’re able to convey tax concepts to clients and the staff you’re mentoring in a manner that they’ll understand.
• You love public accounting. It is your passion, although certainly NOT your only interest!
• You take pride in helping others, and you are ready to take on the challenge of leading a team of high-performing individuals.
• You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's rules and applying them to your clients’ facts and circumstances.
• You have a knack for solving problems and identifying issues while bringing solutions to the table.
• You have experience with and strong knowledge of ASC 740 and accounting
• You've completed accounting for income tax preparation and ASC 740 and IAS 12 consultations
• You reviewed with C-Corp returns and have consolidated and multistate return experience
• You have experience providing assistance with deferred tax validation, tax provision controls, and provision process
• In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, hold or are working towards an active CPA license, and have 3-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $84,000

Beyond base salary, Eide Bailly provides benefits such as: generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
