Job Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, maintain database.
• Explain and tune application queries to meet performance requirements.
• Migrate database changes from one environment to another.
• Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning.
• Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations.
• Maintain server configuration, migration, and other implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.
• Manage back-ups and recovery procedures.

Technical Skills: Experience in Windows XP/2003/Vista, SQL, MySQL.

Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, security, recovery, integrity and SQL
• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree
• Travel may be required.

Salary: $68,000/year
